BCF Career Event is organised for everyone who is active or wants to be active in the sectors Life Sciences, Chemistry, Food and Pharma. Via this event (TSE, PhD, MSc and BSc)-students, postdocs and (young) professionals can get in contact with relevant employers, educational institutes and recruitment offices. The event is free for job-seekers who have registered online before the deadline, 6 November. If you have not registered online, you can purchase an admission ticket on 14 November for €10,- (NOTE! Only cash) at the on-site registration desk. From 13.00h onward you can enter for free.
You can register online for BCF Career Event via this link. Fill in the form and click on ‘submit'. After your registration you will automatically receive a confirmation email. Do you already have a BCF Career account, or did you participate at BCF Career Event before? Click on 'I have registered before or already have an account'.
Go to www.bcfcareer.com and click on the top on the 'Login candidates' button. Fill in your login details and click on ´CV´. In this overview you can submit or change your CV.
If you are looking for a new job and you would like to be found by employers who participate at BCF Career Event, you should upload your CV on BCF Career. Not only can employers find your CV online via the website, exhibitors can also scan your name badge on 14 November and directly save your digital CV.
Until 6 November you can register for free online for BCF Career Event 2019. After this date you can download the on-site registration form via the registration page. By printing, filling in this form and handing it in at the desk you can register for €10,-. You can also fill in the registration form on-site. When you register after 13.00h you can enter the fair for free.

Around one week before the event, you will receive your entrance ticket via e-mail. In this e-mail you can find your personal registration number. Do not forget to take this e-mail with your personal number with you as a printed version or digitally via your smartphone!
No, this is not necessary. You can decide on the day which sessions you will attend. Are there sessions you absolutely do not want to miss? Make sure you’re in the room on time.
Before going to the event, decide up front which employers you want to speak to and check what vacancies they have. On BCFcareer.be you can see which employers will be present and what vacancies they have. Determine which sessions or workshops you definitely want to attend. There is a limit to the number of people who can attend a session, so be on time. Bring a few copies of your resume with you (the resume should not be longer than 2 pages). Only show the resume to the recruiter if they ask for it, or if it comes up in the conversation. Can you introduce yourself in 1 minute? Make sure you can present yourself and explain what you are looking for in a 1 minute speech. In this way it’s easier to give a clear answer if a recruiter asks about your background and specialisations.
