The next courses in our industry track are part of the Business Development Programme. This is an accelerator programme for professionals in business development in the Life Sciences.
- The first module, the Business Development Course, specifically aims at junior to mid-level BD professionals who are driven to expand their knowledge on the BD process and to strengthen their BD competences. Most BD professionals in this sector have a scientific background and are not trained to think and act commercially and to be business minded. During this intensive two-day course, experienced BD executives and experts will share their experiences and insights and provide practical tips concerning topics such as partner search, valuation, negotiation, legal aspects, deal structures and finance.
- The second module, the Global Scale-up - US Investment Tour, allows you to develop the knowledge and entrepreneurial skills necessary for scaling-up a life sciences and medical devices venture. You start with a baseline assessment to determine your starting point as a venture compared with US and European competitors. Based on the outcome, you will get one-on-one mentoring to guide you with your decision-making on how to increase the value of your venture. Subsequently you will embark upon an US investment journey to Southern California. This module is powered by main partner Health~Holland.
- The third module, the Global Investor Forum, allows you to apply the skills acquired in the previous two modules to obtain funding, scale-up and develop your company. During this module you will come in direct contact with leading investors, influencers and world-experts in life sciences. It features two days of pitches to investors, lectures, networking events and attendance to the leading life science conference in the Netherlands, Innovation for Health. This module is powered by main partner Health~Holland.
