Introduction
I work for FrieslandCampina, as a senior scientist. I have been in this function for 7 years. FrieslandCampina is one of the world’s largest dairy companies and its cooperative tradition dates back more than 140 years. It is an international company with a strong local character: people oriented, approachable and open. My main responsibility is the planning and execution of research in the field of infant food. I am also responsible for aspects of project management and arranging contracts. What I really enjoy about the work is the multidisciplinarity of it. If you want to succeed in this field it is important that you are skilled in communication and alignment and that you are strong on content.

Via a former colleague who send me the vacancy description of which when I read it thought; this is me.

Can you tell a little bit about the application process you went through?
Sending letter, first Interview, presentation to present my vision how to improve infant formula based on my expertise.

What was challenging for you when you started in this position?
To learn the company: all the different departments, from supply chain to QA, RA, R&D, finance, contracting etc etc.
