Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT – The Research University in the Helmholtz Association) is a public corporation. The KIT mission combines the three core tasks of research, higher education, and innovation. With about 9,200 employees, including 6,000 staff members in the science and education sector, and more than 25,500 students, KIT is one of the big institutions of research and higher education in natural sciences and engineering in Europe.

Company activities:

KIT is creating structures that enable science and research to develop and implement new ideas in interdisciplinary networks. Research capacities are bundled in the KIT Centers for Energy, Mobility Systems, Information, Systems, and Technologies, Materials, Elementary Particle and Astroparticle Physics, Climate and Environment, as well as Humans and Technology.

We are looking for

KIT supports young scientists at various levels. As The Research University in the Helmholtz Association, KIT has many opportunities to offer plannable career paths. For example, KIT is going to establish up to eleven tenure-track professorships in 2018. We are also looking for Junior Group Leaders, PostDocs and PhD-Students.
