The German Cancer Research Center (Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum, DKFZ) in Heidelberg is Germany’s largest biomedical research institute and a member of the Helmholtz Association.

Company activities:

In over 100 divisions and research groups, 3.000 employees (including 550 PhD students and 450 Postdocs) investigate the causes and mechanisms of cancer and develop novel tools for cancer diagnosis, treatment and prevention. With Harald zur Hausen (2008) and Stefan Hell (2014), two researchers of the DKFZ have been awarded the Nobel Prize.

We are looking for

Scientists at all career levels with backgrounds in (molecular) biology, molecular medicine, biochemistry, chemistry, physics, mathematics, computer science and epidemiology/public health. We welcome applications from all nationalities. Excellent English language skills are required; a knowledge of German is not necessary.
