Principal Scientist, New Antibody Product Research
Genmab is focused on the creation and development of innovative and differentiated antibody products, with the aim of improving the lives of cancer patients.
In this position, you will work in Genmab’s international project teams to discover and develop antibody therapeutics. As a Principal Scientist in the New Antibody Products Research department, you will be a pivotal player in the development of ground-breaking new medicines from concept to clinical candidate by the design and coordination of cutting-edge research. Your role at Genmab
Collaborating with internal and external parties on preclinical therapeutic antibody discovery and with Research Associates on the discovery of new antibody-based product concepts. That is what it means to work as Principal Scientist New Antibody Products Research at Genmab in Utrecht. We are currently in a growing phase with a knock your socks off pipeline with new products. That is where you come in and where you can help us realize our growth ambitions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Investigate mechanisms of action and activity of antibodies via in vitro and in vivo methods and contribute to preclinical proof of concept for new products
Contribute to the vision and strategy of immuno-oncology product concepts, the identification of novel targets for therapeutic antibodies and selection of suitable disease indications
Record scientific results and contribute to publications, presentations, patent applications, and the documentation critical to enter the next stages of product development

- A completed PhD with at least 5 years of relevant work experience
- A proven track record in the field(s) of immunology, (immuno-) oncology or therapeutic antibodies
- Affinity with medicine and translating clinical observations into laboratory research
- Excellent communicative and relational skills and you master the English language
