Genmab is recruiting a motivated scientist passionate about writing and presenting data to significantly contribute to gathering and communicating essential scientific information needed to shape the strategy for developing antibody drugs for IMCID therapy. Genmab, typically developing antibodies for cancer therapy, is now at an exciting time for recruitment of a new team dedicated to exploring antibody therapeutics for chronic inflammatory diseases
The scientific communication team is responsible for providing scientific writing and communications support for our antibody discovery, translational research, and new antibody formats & technology groups. The team is central to global Translational Research department.
This role will be primarily to provide support to a new program focused on exploring chronic inflammatory diseases areas. With a strong immunological background and scientific expertise, this new role will contribute to the discovery of transformative antibody products to treat immune-mediated chronic inflammatory diseases (IMCID)
The scientific writer will contribute to the discovery of new therapies for immune-mediated chronic inflammatory diseases, by providing information on relevant targets, competitive therapies, disease mechanisms and the latest developments in the area of chronic inflammatory diseases
The candidate will work together with a multidisciplinary team of experts that will formulate a strategy to generate transformative antibody products to treat chronic inflammatory diseases
The candidate will work closely with both internal and external parties to generate high-level overviews and summaries for prioritization of research activities
The candidate will contribute to publication strategy for the IMCID program by authoring and reviewing high quality abstracts, posters, presentations, and scientific manuscripts as well as writing high-quality reports and summaries of preclinical and translational data for patent applications and regulatory documentation (incl. IND/CTA/BLA, investigators brochures, etc.) at a later stage of the project
The successful candidate holds a PhD relevant to antibody biology, immunology or similar
In addition to extensive experience in identification, gathering and concise reporting of scientific information and communication management, including scientific searching tools and business intelligence tools proficiency
We are searching for a content expert in immune-mediated chronic inflammatory diseases with excellent writing and communication skills, as well as strong skills in evidence building, data analysis and data collation
The candidate will be independent, motivated, and committed to the long-term development of the IMCID program
Work experience in a (biotechnology) company in a similar position will be considered an advantage
This position is full-time and (partially) office located in Utrecht, The Netherlands
