Martine van Vugt has spent 25 years at Genmab, rising from research scientist on the early team behind Darzalex to Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, a role she has held since 2023. A biologist by training and an introvert by nature, she has never managed her career so much as followed her intuition to the next opportunity and stepped in.
