Laboratory Coordinator

The Laboratory Coordinator at GenDx is a crucial part of the Operations team. You plan, direct and coordinate the operations of the laboratory. You coordinate the work of our Technicians, by ensuring that all products are produced according to the high quality specifications. You ensure that all products are produced on time by keeping an eye on planning and material inventory. Further, you contribute to implementing new products and processes by writing the required documentation. You work closely together with the IVD Production Manager and the Technician team. To do all this, you are structured, have a keen eye for detail, and you know the products and the production processes in the laboratory inside and out.

Responsibilities

• Organizing and planning of laboratory operational activities
• Stock control of materials and intermediate products
• Checking and processing of product registrations
• Coordinating daily tasks of Technicians
• Communication with suppliers
• Creating and adjusting documentation for processes
• Working according to ISO 13485 standards.

Profiel

• (B)ASc or MSc degree in Life Sciences or similar
• At least 3 years of experience as a Senior Technician
• Strong planning and organization skills
• Independent, responsible with an eye for detail
• Excellent command of Dutch and English (written and spoken).
• You currently live, or are willing to relocate, in the proximity of Utrecht Science Park.
