EURAXESS is a network created at the initiative of the European Commission to disseminate relevant information to researchers and to support their activities. EURAXESS Netherlands is the Dutch office, providing information for researchers coming to the Netherlands, or for the companies who are hosting them.
Company activities:
The overall aim of Euraxess Netherlands is to facilitate the mobility of researchers to the Netherlands by providing information and assistance on a whole array of ‘mobility issues’. These include topics such as immigration procedures, tax issues, health insurance and social security.
Euraxess Netherlands provides information and assistance to two groups. Firstly to mobile researchers and their families intending to come to the Netherlands. Secondly to support staff working at organisations hosting foreign researchers. These host organizations can be universities, research institutes or commercial enterprises.

We are looking for
We would like to get in contact with researchers as well as those who are working at organisations hosting foreign researchers. We are always open for input and feedback.
From researchers we like to hear what information might be missing on our website. And if we can help in any other (maybe offline) way.
From research organisations we would like to receive input on their needs. Are there difficult topics that need more explanation? Or are there issues that need to be addressed at a European level?

Our website www.euraxess.nl offers a continuously updated overview of Dutch research job vacancies as well as information on available fellowships and grants. Moreover, the website contains need-to-know information on (preparing) your stay in the Netherlands. This includes topics such as immigration procedures, tax issues, health insurance and social security. If you can't find the answer to your question on our website, feel free to call or email us.
We are also the link to EURAXESS Europe, EURAXESS Worldwide and the European Commission. So if there are shared issues or ideas, we can share this with the European Commission. Also, we communicate about new initiatives from the European Commission to our network.
