to work from our office in Leiden, the Netherlands.
Leyden Labs is a fast-growing biotech company currently expanding the CMC team focused on 
continuing pipeline filling projects for the discovery of new molecules.
In your role as Technician you will oversee and execute experiments related to early and latestage CMC activities e.g. new formulations, product stability, forced degradation, method 
optimization, lab support for manufacturing investigations. Your responsibilities will include 
day-to-day planning, execution, and reporting of experiments to support the team. Our new 
colleague has a flexible mindset, appetite for learning new skills, conducts experiments 
efficiently, and is full of enthusiasm to join a lab within a fast-paced team of a highly dynamic 
company.
This will be on your plate for the next 3 to 6 months:
• Provide support on the set-up of experiments to screen and characterize potential 
protein candidates and targets of interest
• Prepare reagents and solutions
• Operate the HPLC, the cIEF-machine and other analytical equipment
• Working closely with team colleagues to develop laboratory workflows
• Participate and execute general laboratory tasks, including maintenance (calibrating 
and troubleshooting), and improve laboratory procedures of the analytical 
equipment techniques used for the experiments
• Write SOP’s and work instructions Report data in (electronic) laboratory notebooks 
(eLNB), assay forms and overview sheets
• Data analysis and interpreting data (with support of the scientist)
More about the team:
Our CMC team currently includes two senior managers CMC, a principal technician and an 
associate scientist. In this role you will be reporting to the Director of CMC.
