Role Overview

This is a co-founder position. You’ll be leading scientific direction while sharing in strategic, operational, and business decisions. Together, we’ll invest sweat equity and services to bring this venture to life.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design and conduct experiments in biotech, molecular biology, bioinformatics, or related fields.

● Analyze data and publish high-impact findings.

● Mentor junior researchers and contribute to a collaborative culture.

● Develop innovative approaches with a focus on sustainability and local ecosystems.

● Oversee lab operations, team development, fundraising, and business growth.

Profile

Qualifications:

● PhD in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Computational Biology, or a related discipline.

● Proven record of research leadership and publications.

● Strong analytical and technical skills (e.g., Python, R, CRISPR, single-cell sequencing, or machine learning tools).

● Adaptable, self-directed, and motivated by collaboration.

● Enthusiasm for living and working in a culturally rich tropical environment.

● Entrepreneurial mindset and readiness to commit sweat equity toward long-term success.
