Director Procurement Material Change Ideation & Governance
As the Director Procurement – Material Change Ideation & Governance, you will drive the end-to-end process for Teva Global Operations (TGO) to identify, prioritize, and govern material change and technology transfer related cost reduction opportunities. Your work will directly support a cross functional process involving global procurement, finance, manufacturing, and supply chain with a strong focus on execution, financial impact, and long-term strategic alignment.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop and lead structured ideation cycles (annual/semi-annual), business casing as well as priorisation to establish and secure the saving pipeline and its implementation progress and ensuring a consistent delivery against the 3-Year Long Range Plan (LRP). The role owner leads the governance process and cooperates closely with teams in manufacturing, finance, supply chain and procurement.
You’ll play a pivotal role in transforming how we manage material costs across direct spend categories (APIs, Excipients, Packaging, Devices, Finished and Semi-Finished Products), helping to drive value through cross-functional alignment, clear governance, and actionable insights.
Profile
- A degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or similar field
- 7+ years of global project or program management experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical or chemical industry
- Experience working with Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) frameworks and financial modeling
- A track record of successfully managing cost reduction or material change programs
- Familiarity with Lean / Six Sigma methodologies (certification a plus)
- Experience with digital tools and automation in a global context
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and governance capabilities
- fluent English skills in written and spoken
