Lab Technician

Job

As a Technician, you will be responsible for various technical and laboratory activities related to the enrichment and processing of sexed bovine semen. You will work accurately according to established procedures and contribute to an efficient and high-quality production process within the laboratory.

• Processing and handling of sexed bovine semen
• Operating specialized sorting machines
• Preparing samples and laboratory materials
• Maintaining technical reports and records
• Working according to established procedures and company guidelines
• Complying with safety, health, and quality regulations
• Supporting general laboratory activities
• Working in a rotating schedule (morning and afternoon shifts when required)\

• MBO (vocational) level education, preferably in a technical or laboratory field
• Experience with or knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Basic laboratory skills
• Good command of the English language, both spoken and written
• Knowledge of a second foreign language is a plus
• Basic computer skills

• Practical, results-driven, and proactive attitude
• Team player with strong collaboration and communication skills
• Accurate, analytical, and efficient
• Flexible and stress-resistant

• The primary working language is English
• A driver's license and own transportation are required
• Occasionally, you may have the opportunity to work abroad at another laboratory for a month
