Job

• Carry out and monitor R&D activities within a specific area or field of knowledge.
• 1.a (IRTA Consolida Programme/tenure-track only): Participate as a team member in projects funded by national public funding.
• 1.b (IRTA Consolida Programme/tenure track only): Co-lead public and private projects and services.
• Prepare reports and documentation on the progress of scientific activities and ongoing work.
• Contribute to the dissemination of results through conferences and scientific and technical publications.
• Collaborate in activities aimed at securing public or private funding through idea generation, proposal writing, and/or the design and execution of proof-of-concept studies.
• Participate in the training and mentoring of junior or trainee staff.
• 5.a (IRTA Consolida Programme only): Co-supervise PhD theses within the area of expertise.
• Stay up to date with advances in the field of specialization.
• Contribute to the valorisation of the results obtained.

Profile

• To hold a PhD degree
• Proved research skills: experience on project proposal writing,literature review, experimental design and implementation, data analysis and scientific article writing
• A strong publication record and experience in scientific presentations.
• Capacity to communicate results to both scientific and practical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English
• Strong teamwork skills, ability to adapt to multidisciplinary environments and a focus on professional growth and development.

Benefits

• Contract: permanent full-time position or IRTA Consolida (tenure track) position subject to the qualifications and experience ofthe selected candidate.
• Salary: to be resolved according to the qualifications andexperience of the selected candidate.
