Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage global initiatives focused on the sugar reduction solutions portfolio lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. Provide technical expertise, recommendations, and support to internal teams and external customers in key projects, addressing specific application challenges and opportunities. Key contribution to the portfolio strategy;
- Design outstanding product formulations to showcase the performance of sugar reduction solutions in multiple food matrices. Conduct hands-on lab work, including application, testing, and optimisation of sugar reduction applications in different product categories to convey value propositions and added value. Co-ordinate sensory and stability evaluations to validate the effectiveness and acceptability of sugar reduction solutions;
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in sugar reduction technologies and incorporate relevant innovations into project initiatives. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all project activities;
- Coach and train peers and key stake holders on the benefits and applications of sugar reduction and taste modulation solutions;
- Document and communicate project progress, results, and recommendations to stake holders, ensuring transparency and alignment. Prepare detailed reports and presentations to effectively convey technical findings, project outcomes, methodologies, and ways of working;
- Engage in customer activities by leading regional “must-win” projects with clear deliverables and direct business impacts.
Profile
The ideal candidate has a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in food science, chemistry, or a related field, topped with 5-10 of experience with sugar reduction technologies and their application in various food products. Experience with plant-based sweeteners, bulking agents, etc. is highly valued. You have experience with laboratory techniques, formulation, and analytical testing related to food applications, including sensory evaluations. Additionally, we are looking for someone with strong project management, interpersonal and problem-sovling skills.Do you have a passion for reducing sugar whilst keeping the delicious taste of food or beverages?
