For our client dsm-firmenich we are searching for a SHE Expert Lab.

In this (temporary) assignment, you will join the SHE organization as an experienced Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) professional supporting global laboratories and office environments. Your primary focus will be developing, improving, and harmonizing SHE guidance materials, such as standards, handbooks, and training content. You will translate global SHE frameworks and Life Saving Rules into practical tools that are easy to use across diverse regions and business units.
In this role, you will work closely with the Labs & Offices competence network, global SHE teams, Laboratory managers and local site stakeholders. You will review existing documents, rewrite and simplify complex requirements, and ensure all materials meet Group SHE Requirements. Your responsibilities include preparing clear communication materials and global presentations as well as supporting the creation and facilitation of training sessions. Over time, you may also provide direct on-site support to selected business units.
Your work will contribute to greater consistency, clarity, and effectiveness of global SHE practices. Success in this assignment will be reflected in high-quality outputs, timely project delivery, positive stakeholder feedback, and improved usability of SHE documentation and training materials.

Profile

The ideal candidate has a strong scientific or SHE-related background and several years of hands-on experience in laboratory environments. You excel in writing and structuring safety documentation, developing clear training materials, and translating complex SHE standards into practical guidance. You can work independent, communicate clearly, and collaborate effectively in a global matrix organization. You will bring solid knowledge of lab-specific hazards, risk assessments, and control measures. Finally, you are proactive, structured, and committed to strengthening the SHE culture across global teams.
